ZZ1C vs. ZZ2C: Which Printer Should I Choose?
The ZZ1C comes standard with one genuine Epson F1080 printhead with six channels: four for CMYK and two for white ink (WW). It can build up layers of ink to create raised 3D embossed effects. However, a vacuum table and varnish system are not included as standard.
For varnish finishes and UV DTF stickers, the ZZ2C is the better choice. It comes standard with a vacuum table, a varnish system, and two genuine Epson F1080 printheads. All six channels of the second printhead are dedicated to varnish, supporting efficient varnish printing and a rich, glossy finish that catches the light when viewed from the side.
The vacuum table securely holds the UV DTF A film flat against the printing platform. This helps prevent the film from curling up and scraping against the printheads, improving printing stability.
Printheads are essential to a printer’s performance. They are also among its most delicate components, and replacing a damaged printhead can be a significant ongoing expense. Keeping the film flat helps protect the printheads and your investment.
